No fireworks at any time. Bonfires are illegal. Propane fires are allowed. Bring a propane camp stove with you to do your cooking.
Home owners are responsible for providing facilities to their work crews, including bathrooms, dumpsters, garbage cans, etc. Please check with our Operations Director, Bill Wolfe if you have any heavy equipment, excavating, or digging machinery, as we want to avoid damage to roads, water lines, hydrants, etc.
DO NOT FEED WILDLIFE. When you feed them from your car on the roads, you are training them to walk in front of cars which can be fatal. Human food also disrupts their natural biology.
Please show respect for our community and natural areas by parking away from the ponds in the upper parking areas. We were fortunate to have a visit from a Great Blue Heron this summer when the vehicles and trailers were gone. Keeping the pond areas clear of vehicles makes it more hospitable to wildlife, thank you!
Speed has been a factor in many wildlife fatalities, and total loss of vehicles. The speed limit is 10mph on the dirt roads in our community and 25 mph on the paved road from the fire station on Camp Bonanza Road. 45mph is the posted speed on Cold Creek Road to the US 95.
Cold Creek adheres to the same rules as Clark County, pets must be in a fenced yard, on a leash, or e-collar, or you must have a leash with you at all times.
There are NO SERVICES IN COLD CREEK, NO MEDICAL SERVICES, IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, CALL 911. Beware of wildlife on the roadway, as they can run at high speed in front of your vehicle any time and you must be prepared to stop quickly. Follow the posted speed limits. 25 mph is required when you enter Cold Creek.
Please be considerate of your neighbors as we are all here not only for the beauty, but the peace and quiet that comes with living in a mountain environment. Stated quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. (see Clark County, NV, for info, call code enforcement 702-455-4191.

-Please make sure coals from your fireplace are completely out and cold before placing them in the dumpster. We have a fire every year because of this, and a strong wind could create a tragedy for our community as embers can travel approximately 1 mile, even further in high wind.
